How to choose
Read size as blade span
Size here is the blade span: 52 inches for the Allsmartlife, MOLSKY and ZMISHIBO, 48 inches for the WINGBO and 42 inches for the Amico. A larger span moves more air across a wider room, while a smaller span fits a tighter space. Compare the span against the room and the ceiling height, since a hugger fan mounts close to the ceiling. All five mount flush, so the span, not the drop, is the number to check first.
Light or no light
The Amico, Allsmartlife and MOLSKY have dimmable LED lights with 3 color temperatures and memory functions. The WINGBO and ZMISHIBO carry no light in their listings, so pair them with existing room lighting. If the room already has lighting, a fan without a light keeps the ceiling simple; if it does not, a dimmable light with a remote covers both jobs.
Noise, speeds and timers
Every pick here has 6 speeds and a reversible DC motor, so speed count alone will not separate them. Noise figures stated are 35dB for the Amico and 30 dB for the MOLSKY and ZMISHIBO. Timers are stated with durations for the Amico and ZMISHIBO at 1, 2, or 4 hours. Compare the stated noise and timer figures before buying.
