How to choose
Match Alexa control to your setup
Each pick here works with Alexa, and the Touchstone, Manastin and Silonn also offer app control, while the LegendFlame adds Wi-Fi control. Check that your home assistant matches the pick: the Touchstone also works with Google Home, and the Manastin and LegendFlame work with Google Assistant. A remote comes with each pick, so voice control adds to the remote rather than replacing it.
Compare coverage figures, not wattage alone
Each pick offers 1,500 watts at full heat, and the Manastin and LegendFlame also offer a 750 W mode, so wattage alone will not separate them. Compare the coverage figures the makers give: 500 sq ft for the LegendFlame and 400 sq ft for the Manastin. Measure your room and compare its floor area with the figure for the pick you are considering.
Measure the opening before you order
Widths here run from 45 inches for the Touchstone to 72 inches for the LegendFlame, and depths run from 3.94 inches for the Manastin to 7.8 inches for the LegendFlame. Measure the height, width and depth of your opening, and check the install type: the Touchstone and Manastin recess or wall mount, the Silonn also stands freestanding, and the LegendFlame wall mounts or recesses.
