How to choose
Smart control: app, remote and voice
All four picks offer remote control. The Touchstone and Silonn offer app control, and the ROVSUN offers a Smart mobile app, while the LegendFlame connects to Wi-Fi for voice control. Voice control is tied to the products that list it: the Touchstone answers Alexa and Google Home commands, and the LegendFlame answers Alexa and Google Assistant commands. Check which control method each pick lists before buying, since app and voice features differ across the four picks.
Read coverage as the maker's figure
Three picks list a coverage figure: the LegendFlame lists 500 sq ft, the ROVSUN lists 400 square feet, and the Touchstone lists 400 ft. Treat each figure as the maker's own number for that unit, not as a measured result for a room, and check the room size against the figure before buying.
Sizes and mounting
Widths run from 26 inches for the ROVSUN to 72 inches for the LegendFlame, with the Touchstone at 45 inches and the Silonn at 50 inches. Mounting differs: the Touchstone is recessed in-wall, the Silonn mounts wall-mounted or recessed, the LegendFlame mounts wall-mounted or recessed, and the ROVSUN is built-in or wall-mounted. Measure the opening first, since the insert width differs from the overall width on the LegendFlame.
