How to choose
Bucket size and storage
The Masthome bucket measures 17.5 by 7.3 by 10.0 inches for apartments, dorms and limited-storage homes, while the Wodemom bucket holds 2 gal for whole-home cleaning. Match the bucket to your home size and your storage space, and check the bucket dimensions before you buy.
Wringers and mop heads
A wringer sets how wet the mop head stays. The Vileda and Masthome sets use a foot pedal, the Wodemom set uses a built-in spin wringer, and the SONGMICS set offers both pedal spin and vertical press wringing. Pad counts run 3 on the Masthome, 4 on the SONGMICS and 6 on the Wodemom, and the Masthome and SONGMICS pads are machine washable. More pads mean fewer washes between changes.
Handles and reach
Handle length and head shape decide how far you reach without bending. The Masthome handle adjusts from 24.8 to 51.6 inches, the SONGMICS handle adjusts from 48.2 to 59.1 inches, and the Wodemom handle is 61 inches long. The Vileda triangular head suits corners, while the 360° heads on the Masthome and SONGMICS sets reach under furniture. Pick a handle length that fits the people who mop.
