- Battery run time: 130 min
- Cordless (battery)
Good for
- Owners of above-ground pools who want a cordless floor cleaner
- Buyers who want one-button operation and self-parking near the wall
Skip it if
- You need rated coverage past 1292 sq ft
- You need a runtime longer than 130 minutes
It uses a dual-motor system across the pool floor and collects leaves, dirt, sand and small twigs in a large debris basket that removes for cleaning. How to choose
Runtime and coverage for above-ground pools
Runtime is the time a cordless cleaner runs on one charge, and coverage is the pool area figure the maker gives for that model. Letexpool runs 130 minutes and is rated for 1292 sq ft by the maker. Nepturox runs 180 minutes and is rated for pools up to 2150 sq ft by the maker. GAMPLAE runs 130 minutes and is rated for pools up to 1100 sq ft by the maker. Match these figures to the pool size and to how long a full cycle should take.
Floor, wall and waterline cleaning
Cleaning area differs by model: floor cleaning covers the pool floor, while wall and waterline cleaning also covers the sides and the line where water meets the wall. Letexpool cleans across the pool floor. Nepturox scrubs floors, walls and waterlines, with Floor, Wall and All-Coverage modes to set the area. GAMPLAE uses dual motors and two scrapers to capture dirt and sediment across the entire pool area. Pick wall and waterline cleaning if the pool needs that coverage.
Self-parking, baskets and upkeep
Self-parking means the cleaner moves near the pool wall when the cycle ends or the battery runs low, so retrieval is easier. Letexpool parks near the pool wall, and GAMPLAE parks near the pool wall when the battery runs low or the cycle ends. Letexpool uses a large debris basket that removes for cleaning, and GAMPLAE uses a filter that rinses with a hose. Empty the basket or rinse the filter after cleaning, following the product instructions for that model.
